Farnham Drive was once an average suburban home, much like the rest on its street. However our client was not satisfied with that, and so we worked to redesign the house from the ground up. This wasn’t just a renovation. It was a reimagining.
Although the client was fond of a modern style, they worried how it would stand out to the style of the street. And such, we created this beautiful medley between traditional and modern, working gabled roofs with striking square silhouettes. The entrance distinguishes itself from the white brick and sliding of the main house, the door framed by a dark block superimposed upon the more conventional background.
The ridged black framed windows let plenty of sunlight in, while also giving the house an air of sophistication and elegance. The furnishing inside is contemporary farmhouse, at once familiar and bold.
